Free for Windows 10 and 11. It installs for your Windows user only, with no administrator password, and updates itself.

What you need

Install it, step by step

Windows and your browser warn about programs they haven't seen many people run. Forever Assistant is new and free, so expect a warning or two the first time. The pictures below are drawings, not screenshots, so the words on your PC may differ a little.

1. Download the setup file

Download it only from this page. If your browser says it isn't commonly downloaded, keep it. In Edge, select … beside the download, then Keep, Show more, and Keep anyway. Chrome and Firefox have a similar choice beside the download.

Edge, drawn. After Keep, select Show more, then Keep anyway.

2. Open it, and run it anyway

If Windows says Windows protected your PC, select More info, check that the app is ForeverAssistantSetup, then select Run anyway.

Windows, drawn. Run anyway appears after More info.

3. Install

Select Install. It installs for your Windows user only and adds a Start menu shortcut, and a desktop one if you like. Then the app opens.

4. Set it up

The app opens on its Setup page and guides you: choose your game, install the companion addon, and let it build its game data from your game files. Then start the game, log in, and select Push to the app on the companion's minimap button.

No Run anyway button? Select More info first. If there's still none, Windows 11's Smart App Control or a work PC's rules block new apps. The Help page explains your choices.

Why Windows warns

Windows warns about programs from publishers it doesn't know. Companies pay every month for a certificate that names them as the publisher. Forever Assistant is free and has no such certificate, so Windows says Unknown publisher. The warning fades as more players run the app.

Check the file (optional)

To be sure your copy is the one on this site, compare its SHA-256 fingerprint with the one above. In PowerShell: Get-FileHash $HOME\Downloads\ForeverAssistantSetup-*.exe

Update and uninstall

When a new version is out, the top of the app says so: select Update now, and it closes, updates, and opens again with your records. To uninstall, open Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps. Your records stay unless you tick Also delete my records.
